Situated in the Pomeroon region of Guyana, Adel’s is a family-run resort that can be accessed from Georgetown in a few picturesque hours as you journey through Guyana’s waterways, lush farms and villages.
Named after the late Adel Stoll (1882-1984) this resort pays tribute to a daughter of the soil who raised eighteen children, sold produce from Adel’s farm and home-made sweets to take care of her family. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren now honour the memory of this much loved matriarch.
This quiet resort is nestled on 60 acres of virgin land and is surrounded entirely by pristine rainforest. Howler monkeys and parrots are generally on hand for your early morning wake up call. Enjoy the clean air, peace and tranquility while laying in a hammock listening to nature at its best.
Adel’s Rainforest Resort can assist in arranging tours to local Amerindian villages, Shell Beach, Santa Rosa and Moruca. Birdwatching is also a favourite pastime with the numerous indigenous birds that call the trees around Adel’s home.
All meals are included in the published rate with an emphasis on local products, nutrition and your preferences. Unlimited Coconut water is available throughout your stay.
Each room contains two comfortable double beds, toilet and shower. Come spend some time at Adel’s Rainforest Resort – let it nourish your body and mind.
